Had an excellent first time experience with Marvin’s Garage Doors. My main garage door spring decided to call it quits late in the evening. The next morning I called first thing for a quote, which was given transparently over the phone, and was asked to send a few photos to verify the spring required. Just from the photos I shared, I was told exactly the model door I had and what spring would be needed. I was promptly put on the list of tickets last minute and told I would likely be taken care of in the afternoon. I checked back in and received an update on the timing and their crew came in and had my spring replaced and both of my doors lubricated in well under 1 hour upon their arrival.From my spring breaking to having my garage door’s function restored took less than 24 hours from start to finish. I may have been fortunate to have caught them on a good day for the schedule, but regardless, I was taken care of as they claimed when I first called.In conclusion, the price was fantastic compared to the competition (it even came out lower than the rough quote I was given), the transparency of their rates were a breath of fresh air, and the customer service was beyond outstanding. Called for service and spring replacement on our garage doors. Mike and Chase were in the area and made the service call same day. They were very professional.They assessed what my needs were and made the repairs and added a special touch to some wiring on the safety beams on both doors. They came out same day to replace the extension springs on our attached garage. Couldn’t be more pleased with the service, the response and the price! They’ve always had our business and will continue to do so!

Bad experience all around. Ordered a door for my vacation house in Va. door was not a normal size so I had no choice but to have it installed. The 2 installers were great and did a good job installing. They did mention that the door would need a locking handle since there was no other access to get inside and they didn’t have one on the truck. They said someone would install later. I had to leave the door unlocked all weekend and it’s still unlocked. Yesterday they sent me an invoice for installing the lock and labor. Lock is 75$. Labor is 150$. Meanwhile they were there last week and could have installed it if they had it on the truck. I said forget it I’ll do it myself. Not very professional in my opinion. Trucks should be well stocked being they are a garage door company. That’s the last time I will use them. And I will pass it along to friends and family.

I have used Marvin’s to install entry doors on 2 of our properties: one property the crew installed 4 doors, including replacing a sliding door with a French door style; the other property they replaced the front door that was from the 1960’s. The crews were professional and great each time they came out. The consultation with Greg went well too, he was always polite, knowledgeable and professional. Their estimate beat 2 other companies in the area by thousands, and they still delivered quality. I’d recommend them to handle your door needs.

The staff of Marvin’s Garage doors were very polite, professional, and fast. In fact, they arrived 30 minutes early and finished the installation in half the time I was quoted. They definitely did a fantastic job installing my new garage door opener, lubricating the tracks, and sticking around to make sure things worked properly before they left.
